How much does it cost to clear an acre? It depends on tree density, stump count, slope, access and what happens to the debris. Light brush costs far less than mature timber. We give a written estimate after a site visit.

Do I need a permit to clear my land? Sometimes. Clearing near wetlands, streams or steep slopes, or above certain thresholds, can require county permits or a forest practices application. We can help you figure out what applies before work starts.

What happens to the trees and stumps? We can haul them away, pile them for burning where allowed, or process them on site. Merchantable timber may offset part of your cost.

Can you clear just a building pad and driveway? Yes. Many customers clear only what they need now and leave the rest wooded.

Can you also clear the lot and build the driveway? Yes. Many customers have us handle clearing, driveway, building pad, utilities and septic together, which saves time and coordination.
