#1 Concrete Foundations & Flatwork in Lewis & Cowlitz County

From the first dig to the final finish, one crew for your foundation, slab and flatwork.

intro

Rockridge builds concrete foundations and flatwork for homes, shops, garages and commercial buildings. Because we also do the excavation, grading and base prep, your concrete sits on properly compacted ground and you deal with one contractor instead of three.

We pour throughout Lewis and Cowlitz counties, including Toledo, Chehalis, Centralia, Winlock, Mossyrock, Castle Rock, Kelso and Longview.

Certified manufactured home foundations

Rockridge is a certified manufactured home installer. Because we're certified, the foundations we build are honored under the home manufacturer's warranty, so your new home is protected from the ground up. Many foundations built by uncertified contractors can put that warranty at risk.

We handle the whole site for a new manufactured home: clearing, driveway, utilities, septic and a warranty-approved foundation, ready for setup.

Concrete FAQ

What's the difference between a foundation and flatwork? A foundation carries the weight of a building: footings, stem walls and structural slabs. Flatwork is horizontal concrete like driveways, sidewalks, patios and shop floors.

Why does concrete crack? Mostly from poor base prep, missing control joints or curing too fast. We compact the base, cut control joints and cure properly to keep cracking to a minimum.

Can you pour concrete in the winter? Yes, with precautions such as blankets, heated water or accelerators. We schedule around hard freezes and heavy rain to protect the finish.

Do you do decorative or stamped concrete? Yes

Can you do the excavation and the concrete together? Yes. That's our strength: we excavate, prep the base, form and pour, so the whole job runs on one schedule.
